Woohoo Pets
Katie got in touch with me in the spring of last year to chat about her new business selling pet goods and accessories. She wanted a website that was warm and welcoming as well as being easy to use and navigate for her customers. To reflect her quirky colourful products she wanted a colour scheme that was fresh and modern with pops of colour.
First Look Styling
The First Look Styling is a new wedding styling company founded by Stephanie Birkett and based in the North East. Stephanie
Stephanie wanted a modern look with a limited colour pallette of black, white and shades of subtle blush tones. She also needed a website that could display her hire catalogue and be easy to update and expand as her new business grows. The hire catalogue is set up similar to a shop front, but instead of purchasing products you can add them to a wish list and then either share that with Stephanie via email or print it off and bring it along to their initial wedding consultation.
Slate Hall Holiday Lets
Mark and Jordan got in touch with me to help them create the website for their new Bed and Breakfast and Holiday Cottages. To begin with they wanted one website to encompass both properties but they decided it would work better to have two seperate websites, one for the B&B and one for the holiday cottages. They wanted the websites to be very warm, light and welcoming as well as having an easy to use booking interface that could sync the calanders with other booking systems they would be using th market their business. They also wanted photographs of both properties and the bed and breakfast room to use throughout the websites.WHAT THEY SAID:
"We would like to thank Rachael Fraser of Align Web Design for her hard work in creating our business websites. Rachael went above and beyond to make sure the website was created as we had envisioned and that it all worked correctly as it should do. Rachael was always available to run through how it works so that we could operate it effectively at the end. We would highly recommend Align Web design to anyone looking to have a website created. We certainly are very pleased. "

A Wedding Less Ordinary
I was contacted by Fiona from 'A Wedding Less Ordinary' as she felt like her current website didnt fully function quite as she wanted it to or reflect her brand. AWL is a collective of creative and innovative wedding suppliers that host wedding fairs at the Boiler Shop in Newcastle. they cater to the modern alternative couple looking for something a bit different for their wedding, so Fiona wanted a website that reflected that and would appeal to their ideal clients. What Fiona Said:
“I cannot recommend Rachael highly enough – with a fairly limited brief she captured my brand perfectly and in no time created a website to be proud of! Totally on the ball and incredibly helpful I have already passed her details on to some other suppliers.”
Rosie Davison Photography
Rosie Davison is a wedding photographer based in the North East of England, and someone who I have worked alongside many times as a photographer. She has worked as my second shooter on numerous occassions in the past and it has been a pleasure to watch her business grow. I created a website for her a few years ago when she first started doing wedding photography using the Wix website platform but she contacted me recently about the potential for upgrading her website and giving it an overall refresh.
Rosies photography is always very warm, earthy and natural so we wanted to create a website that would reflect her style, add some new content and pages that she had been hoping to add for a while and also also making the overall website more professional and polished. She also wanted a website that would easily integrate with the various client management software she uses such as Pic Time and Studio ninja to make her business and process more streamlined.
What Rosie Said:
"Rachael has helped me to transform my website into a professional platform for my photography services that I am really proud of. She listened carefully to my vision and created a timeless site that reflects my business perfectly. I am now able to update the website myself with new photography content with ease and I am still so happy with how it looks!."
Example PagesAlongside her new website design Rosie needed some new headshots. To fit with her outdoorsy/ earthy brand we went out to Thrunton woods to take the headshots and just happened to find a bit of snow which looked great!
Birdcages & Dragonflies
Birdcages and Dragonflies is a Wedding Styling company based in Northumberland run by Jane Flatman. I had heard about Birdcages and Dragonflies many times within my wedding photography business, having styled a few of the weddings that I was photographing, and I loved her work so it was amazing to work with her on her new website. When I first spoke to Jane she had been attempting to update the website that she currently had and was struggling to achieve the look that she was hoping for or to fully showcase her beautiful work. She was keen to showcase the styled shoots that she had worked on with other local suppliers with a 'Lookbook' as well as creating an easier way for her clients to view her hire catalogue. What Jane Said:
" Rachael has recently built the website for our company and I can honestly say it is better than I could ever have imagined. She was so easy to talk to and took on board my ideas and used her skill and vision to turn them into a website which is easily accessible by our clients and also looks amazing. She explained every step of the way and allowed me to alter and change as the site developed and I could see how it was going to work. I am looking forward to working with her on our next project. "
Sophie Barlow Designs
Sophie Barlow is a costume designer and On Set standby working on theatre productions and within the film and TV industry. She was looking for a website that she could showcase her work and CV and easily send to directors when applying for new jobs. With a page for a CV of her work within the film industry and then a seperate page for theatre work and a showcase of individual productions. She wanted the overall design to be clean and simple so we kept the colour scheme in black and white with gold accents. What Sophie Said:
"Rachael was super professional and after our first meeting completely understood what I wanted to convey on my website. What felt like no time at all she created the website! Will definitely be recommending to my friends and colleges! Fantastic"
Maid to Care
Sarah from Maid to Care got in touch with me to talk about giving her home care website a refresh, she hadnt updated her website for many years so it was quite static without any images and purely text based. We wanted the website to look fresh and inviting with clear information, as well as adding more imagery to make the site more engaging. Sarah also wanted a map embedded into the site to show the service area that her business covers.
