Rachael Fraser was born and raised in beautiful rural Northumberland. She is a huge animal lover, especially of dogs, and has a gorgeous husky who often stars in her photographs (he may look like a wolf but he is a big softie!).

 She studied Costume Design at Edinburgh College of Art, which was a wonderful experience, not least of all for the opportunity to learn some valuable design skills. She has been a professional photographer for the better part of the past decade, working primarily in wedding photography, as well as portraits and landscapes.

Rachael’s career as a professional photographer has always lent itself nicely to web design, creating websites for friends and family with their personal endeavours and businesses, and putting her passion for design and creativity to good use. 

As with so many others, in 2020 the global pandemic had a huge impact on Rachael and the wedding industry, consequently bringing her living as a wedding photographer to a standstill. With this huge change came time to reflect, and wanting to combine her passion for photography with her keen eye for design and development, it became the perfect time to set her mind to a new business and larger focus in life.

 And so Align Design was born.

 She is excited to move forward with this new venture, and to meet and work with businesses and creatives to help their visions come to life.
